Now playing, transport controls and volume for a media player.

A media card for any Homey device that behaves like a speaker: Sonos, Chromecast, a TV, an AV receiver.
What it shows
- The track and artist currently playing.
- Album art, when the device provides an image.
- Previous / play-pause / next buttons.
- A volume slider.
Which of these appear depends on what the device reports. A speaker that exposes no track information simply shows the controls.

Turning Show controls off leaves a now-playing display — useful on a dashboard meant to be looked at rather than touched.
Tips
- Size it wide. Track titles are long. A card at least two squares wide keeps them readable; narrower cards will truncate.
- Volume steps. The slider maps to the device's own volume range, so what a given position means depends on the speaker.
- Locked cards. When the card is PIN protected and locked, the transport buttons and the volume slider are both disabled until the code is entered.
If the controls do nothing
Some Homey media drivers report a device as a speaker but do not implement the transport capabilities. If play-pause has no effect, check whether the same button works in the Homey app — if it does not work there either, it is the device driver rather than HDashboards.
